We do not use factory methods or purchased parts but create our dolls exclusively by hand.
Naturally, working in cloth, we do not aim for porcelain perfection but for Realism and Beauty in Cloth.
Being Cloth, the dolls have seams and variations in color and skintones, They have blemishes and small flecks just like normal people. This is part of their appeal, the unique process and the natural look which we try to achieve.
Each head and limb is made in ShellCloth, Linda’s own unique invention, to create hard formed cloth which is extremely durable and virtually unbreakable even when dropper.
It has been developed over the past 17 years and entails applying 15+ brush on coats to each and every head and limb to achieve the ShellCloth qualities and translucent skintones.
